Job Description:
Expert-level skills and five or more years experience with writing and integrating SQL queries, stored procedures and triggers.
Expert-level skills and five or more years experience administering SQL server load balancing and query optimization procedures
Expert-level skills and five or more years experience in SQL database version control and management, backup and recovery scheduling, and data extract and import scripting
Working knowledge of network architecture, including but not limited to load balancing, firewalls, and session management
Working knowledge developing, deploying, testing and supporting SharePoint/.NET applications using Visual Studio (VB.NET, ASP.NET, C# and ADO.NET)
Asset: Microsoft certification
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK

If you are a Sr. SQL Server DBA with SQL Server 2008 and replication, as well as mirroring experience and you live within commuting distance to Carson, please read on!
What you need for this position:
- 7+ years of database administration experience
- Expert knowledge of SQL Server 2005 / 2008 (Experience with 2008 is a must)
- Expert knowledge of Replication and mirroring
- Knowledge of setting up SQL infrastructure for other distribution centers
- Proficiency in T-SQL for programming stored procedures and triggers.
- Experience with implementing, maintaining, tuning, and deploying SQL solutions
- Extensive performance tuning and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with database backup and recovery
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) a must
- Advanced SQL skills
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
What you ll be doing - You will:
- Provide general database administration support for production and internal databases including trouble shooting and performance tuning
- Provide 24x7 support for production infrastructure
- Responsible for planning, analysis, implementation and supporting of database and data warehouse systems
- Work with software engineers on schema design and SQL optimization
